I remove paint spills and splashes from paving, brickwork, limestone and other surfaces.
From a tipped tin to a large spill on a job site, I’m Michael and I do all the work myself.
I travel across Perth from Mandurah to Joondalup, and further for larger jobs.
That includes accidents during painting or delivery,
and paint deliberately thrown over a property.
I remove both oil-based and water-based paints.
My cleaning products soften dried paint, and hot water helps wash it away.
The finish depends on the paint and the surface underneath.
We can discuss the result you want and the cost before I start.
I also offer graffiti removal.
Send me photos of the paint spill and the location.
I’ll take a look and get back to you with a quote.

“Michael responded promptly to my needs and fitted in around other trades I had working on site. Did a great job removing old paint spills on paving and brick work.”
“From the initial contact through to completing the job of removing paint stains from my pavers, Emma and Michael were excellent.”
“Michael is the consummate professional. He was responsive, up front with expectations and costs, flexible and reliable.”
The best thing to do is leave the spill alone and let me clean it up. Don’t hose it down. Water spreads the paint over a larger area. That means more area to clean up, and a greater cost. Use sand to make a barrier to stop the paint running.
Dried paint can still be removed. The cleaning products I use soften the dried paint. Hot water softens it further and helps wash it away.
Over time, the exposed surface weathers. The surface beneath the paint may weather differently.
I remove paint spills from all surfaces, including concrete, paving, brick, limestone, stone and glass. The result depends on the paint and the condition of the surface underneath.
Painted surfaces are different. Removing the spilled paint can also remove the paint underneath. You can then repaint the exposed surface. Colorbond can be an exception. I may be able to remove the spilled paint without affecting the original coating.
I can remove pretty much all the paint. Some can remain in small cracks between the paving. I can remove both oil-based and water-based paints. Primers can stain the surface, though. Normal house and exterior paints come off fine.
It comes down to the finish you want and the cost. A perfect clean can cost two to three times as much as getting 95% of the way there. We can discuss that before I start, so you can decide what’s worth doing.
Send photos showing the area covered in paint.
